Introducing Craft: booking home-improvement pros, simplified

Craft is the second marketplace we're building on the Qubin platform — a booking app for home-improvement professionals, from kitchen refits to garden projects. It's currently in development; here's what it will bring.

The same problem, a different industry

NailMe taught us that the hard part of booking a local service isn't discovery, it's trust and coordination: seeing real past work, confirming availability, and agreeing on scope before anyone shows up. Home-improvement projects have the same problem, just with higher stakes — a tile backsplash or a fireplace makeover is a bigger commitment than a manicure.

What Craft covers

Craft organizes home-improvement work into the categories homeowners actually search for:

• Kitchen — cabinet refinishing, custom shelving, tile backsplashes, countertop upgrades, lighting
• Bathroom — tile work, shower renovations, custom vanities, plumbing fixtures
• Living room — custom furniture, accent walls, fireplace makeovers, built-in storage
• Garden & terrace — raised beds, pergolas, garden paths, deck refinishing, outdoor furniture
• Floors, entryway, office and kids' rooms — plus sustainable and upcycled projects for homeowners who want eco-friendly materials

Each category is meant to help a pro show relevant, comparable work — the same way NailMe organizes nail portfolios by style rather than one long, unsorted feed.

Built on NailMe's booking core

Craft doesn't start from zero. It reuses the same feature modules that already run NailMe in production: in-app booking with real-time availability, direct chat between customer and professional, portfolio browsing, and verified reviews tied to completed jobs. What changes is the category structure and the domain-specific details a home-improvement booking needs — project scope, materials, and site details — layered on top of a foundation that's already proven in the App Store and Google Play.

Why build it this way
